Palo Alto Rowing Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit public club which recruits students from all local high schools. Our mission is to provide a program in which junior athletes can realize the many physical and educational benefits of participation in the sport of rowing, all in a fun environment.

Membership is open to all students who are presently attending high school. New membership is limited to 45 athletes for the 2006/2007 season. We row at the port in Redwood City, and our Head season this year runs from September 15 2007 to November 17 2007, with our Sprint season running from November 17 2007 through to May Championships.

Women's crew is one of the fastest growing collegiate sports,
and many Bay Area women have received scholarships to
prestigious colleges. One of our club's recent graduates
received a full rowing scholarship to a Division I
college, and another was recruited as a coxswain.

During this past season, both our mens and womens
teams placed first at many local regattas, and our
club has medaled for 3 years in a row at the
Southwest Regional Junior Championships!

We look forward to you becoming part
of our winning team.............. come join us!
