About the Teams
Advanced
This group has a wide variety of experience. We all have rowing experience; for some it has
only been a couple of years and for others it has been 10 or more. The overall goal of this team is to get back into the swing
of rowing and meet some great people. Racing is a definite option for those who wish to train. We have some races coming up
in the fall that we plan to attend. We are also looking towards the Masters' sprinting season next summer and hope to attend
Nationals in Long Beach. if racing isn't something you are interested in, not to worry, there is no pressure to race. We are
about getting on the water together and having fun.
Practice Schedule: Saturday 9-11am (other practices based on rower availability)
Rowers are responsible for their own USRowing membership and membership fee.
Annual Membership: $540/yr Monthly Membership: $50/month
Novice
The Novice team is very new and growing quickly. Novice is a great place for anyone who wants
to learn how to row and give this sport a try. The Novice training will consist of a series of lessons from the PARC coaching
staff and a trial membership for you to really give this a shot before you commit to anything. Rowing is such a wonderful
sport and we are excited to get more of the community out there on the water. This is a great way to meet new people, have
fun and get in shape! There will also be options to race next summer. There are many Novice categories at every event
for those who want to get more competitive. We hope to see you there!
New Rower Lessons consist of 3 weekends, 2 hours per day and a 2 month
club membership. Fee $325. PARC Parent Lessons $250 Schedule information coming soon!
Boat Usage
All rowers will have access to the Erg Studio. Advanced rowers may row with
an experienced coxswain in the eight any time and may use other equipment when a coach is present. Novice rowers may
only row when a coach is on the water with a safety lauch.
