Renee Hykel and her new partner Jen have been training very hard to get the opportunity to compete in the Beijing Olympics 2008. This month they came 1st by open water in a Olympic qualifier race, which guaranteed them exactly that!

Palo Alto Rowing Club is a proud sponsor of the LW2X. Renee Hykel is in bow and Julia Nichols is stroke. They were Bronze Medal winners at the 2006 World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland.
